Help!

I need to paint my house this summer.  It has so much peeling paint and just lacks curb appeal.  The plan is to paint the house a darker color than it is, paint the trim white, and then paint the shutters and the door a darker bolder color.  I was going to do blue, but I see a lot of blue houses around me and don't want to be the same.  Help me choose what color I should go with.

  1. It looks so cute as its current color, but I totally understand the desire to make it all your own! What about sage green, or slate gray? Or pale yellow, or beige or even chocolate brown? I was eying all of the houses through Palo Alto today while biking home with Ella. Have you looked through any of the paint webpages? There are so many options! I bet that gets kind of overwhelming. But right now I'm living vicariously through my friends and family when it comes through house stuff, so it makes me excited. :o) Can't wait to hear what you decide to do with it!
